1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the GlobalExpress website, mobile application, or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Important: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GlobalExpress Logistics Inc. Please read them carefully.

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Services Description

GlobalExpress provides logistics and shipping services including but not limited to:

  • Express and standard delivery services
  • Freight and cargo transportation
  • Warehousing and distribution
  • Customs clearance services
  • E-commerce fulfillment
  • Supply chain management

2.1 Service Availability

Our services are subject to availability and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify service features and pricing
  • Impose restrictions on certain shipments
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason at our discretion
  • Suspend services during emergencies or force majeure events

3. Shipping Terms & Conditions

3.1 Prohibited Items

You agree not to ship any prohibited items through our services. Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

3.2 Packaging Requirements

You are responsible for proper packaging of your shipments. GlobalExpress is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging. Requirements include:

  • Use of new, sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes
  • Adequate cushioning material
  • Proper sealing with strong packing tape
  • Clear labeling with complete addresses
  • Compliance with specific item packaging guidelines

3.3 Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines and are not guaranteed. Factors affecting delivery times include:

  • Weather conditions and natural disasters
  • Customs clearance delays
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Recipient availability
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information

4. Liability & Insurance

4.1 Limitation of Liability

GlobalExpress's liability for loss or damage to shipments is limited as follows:

Maximum Liability: Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged shipment is limited to the lesser of: (a) the actual value of the contents, (b) the cost of repair, or (c) $100 per shipment, unless additional insurance was purchased.

4.2 Insurance Options

You may purchase additional insurance for your shipments:

4.3 Exclusions from Liability

GlobalExpress shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage due to improper packaging
  • Consequential, incidental, or special damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity
  • Acts of God, war, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or customs delays
  • Inherent vice or nature of the shipped goods

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing and Charges

Shipping charges are based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Destination and delivery speed
  • Additional services selected
  • Fuel surcharges and accessorial fees

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Corporate accounts with net payment terms
  • Bank transfers (for approved accounts)

5.3 Late Payments

Late payments may result in:

  • Service suspension
  • Late payment fees (1.5% per month)
  • Collection proceedings
  • Credit reporting for significant delinquencies

8. Termination

8.1 By GlobalExpress

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

8.2 By You

You may discontinue use of our services at any time. However, you remain responsible for:

  • All charges incurred prior to termination
  • Returning any company property
  • Settling any outstanding balances

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved as follows:

  1. Negotiation: Parties shall attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, parties shall attempt mediation
  3. Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Delaware
  4. Court Action: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
